First thing you need to do is create systemization models that will help your staff to easily re-create what you do without your input any longer. All that is required is regular meetings with the person you put in charge of this, whether they be an inexpensive outsourced option from the likes of the Philippines for as little as $2 / hour, or a more expensive local employee option.
When you know how to effectively systemize, and this is a learnt skill, so don't worry if you don't know how at the moment. You then have the necessary tools and strategies to hand to your staff that they can follow from that point forward, heck, you can even create systems where your staff hire, fire, research and interview new members when they've maxxed themselves out, this is automates your business and makes life easier for you.
Systems of course are only one aspect of business coaching that you need to have success. If you look at McDonalds, they can hire 14 and 15 year olds and have 16 year old managers because of their awesome systems and drop-dead simple processes and equipment, even a monkey could be trained to use them.
So my rant today is about why business coaching in Newcastle or anywhere in the world for that matter is so dependent on systems and good training, and why you should do it SOONER rather than later, even if it's just you running the show now, treat this whole process like you're the head staff member that you will eventually put on and get those systems in place.
The types of daily routine things you do and you possibly think "Oh, I'm the only one who can do that!" is nothing more than just writing it down, video taping it, audio recording it, doing whatever it is you need to do to make yourself "Clonable" and "Duplicatable" as they say, this is the key to success in growing your business.
The issue is, even if you never wish to grow your business, you need to make life easy in the event soemthing happens to you (the controller of your business), or you wish to have a holiday, this way you won't just have to "SHUT SHOP", you can implement some strategies and systems to keep it all running by someone else who can follow them... An outsourced or part-time staff member possibly, as one one day you just might want to grow your company further and at least this way you'll have the setup, strategy and structure in place to do that.
